We all have morning rituals. I usually wake up 5:30-6, have my morning chai, hit the gym or do yoga for a hour at home. When I get back I prepare a smoothie or veggie juice to kick start the day. My smoothies are usually blend of veggies, fruit and depending on what workout/day going to be like I add pea protein or adaptogens. Protein for recovery and adaptogens for wellness.
Then it’s off to the day on. most times the smoothie is yummy and then on rare occasions, I get a look from my husband saying “What’s in this? Maybe you shouldn’t try this one again”. Well that’s what you get for experimentation I guess? However my friends, this green blend recipe is a winner he gave 2 thumbs up and actually asked me to share it on the blog and Instagram ! It’s zesty, fresh, packed full of greens and makes you feel alive.
GREENS are LIFE! They contain nutrients our bodies need to function properly. They are an excellent source of fiber, iron, folate, and carotenoids. They also contain vitamins C and K and a host of minerals including calcium. Dark green leafy vegetables also act as antioxidants in our body.
