Creamy Feta Sauce this airy whipped feta sauce is free of mayo, nuts, nut butter, cream cheese, oil so its a bit on the healthy side, but not to be fooled, its rich, briny, very flavorful and compliments not only Mediterranean dishes, but we’re putting it on our toasts, grain bowls and so many more ways.
This sauce is whipped to create a light airy sauce. It’s whipped with feta, some Greek yogurt, lemon juice, a bit of optional garlic and whatever herbs you have on hand. This addicting sauce compliments many dishes specially as a dipping sauce with skewers, kebabs, roast veggies, a beautiful feature on a mezze platter and even toasts. Every spoonful is delicious and its now a permanent dip in our fridge.
Ingredients Needed
- Feta block: avoid the pre crumbled kind. They’re dry, sometimes coated with cellulose as an anti caking agent, and have lost some of their flavor.
- Greek yogurt: creamy Greek yogurt adds body and texture, use any fat percentage you like.
- Lemon juce
- Garlic: a small clove is all you need, optional.
- Herbs: parsley, mint are the best.

- small food processor
Ingredients
- 6 oz feta cheese
- ⅓ cup Greek yogurt any fat percentage
- 1-2 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 small clove garlic optional
- ¼ cup mixed herbs parsley mint
- ½ tsp paprika
- salt and black pepper
Instructions
- In a small food processor pulse a clove of garlic if using until its finely chopped. Add the feta, yogurt, lemon juice, salt, pepper, and herbs. Blend pulsing a few times and then blending until smooth. Transfer to a clean jar and keep refrigerated. Use within a week.
