A sweet n hot salsa to make all summer. Berries are plentiful in California right now and Im finding all sorts of ways to use berries and summer fruit. This sweet yet tangy, spicy and refreshing salsa is perfect for all your summer grilling and barbecue parties.
My favorite way to eat fruit is of course is munching on them as is, but when you more than you can eat you have to get creative to add them to your meals. I tend to gravitate to savory but summer berries are delicious refreshing in recipes sweet and savory.
Fresh salsas like this recipe is my specialty, it’s so versatile, we scoop them with chips, or top our tacos for a fresh tangy experience. I recommend you keep this recipe in your back pocket and make it all summer.
** Use chillies to your taste and heat tolerance. Jalepeno is milder than serrano. Hebenero chillies are the hottest amongst the three choices. If its hard to find either of the chillies use whats available. I like my salsa hot so I used habanero.
