Frozen Berries
1-1½cupsfrozen berries or fruit of your choice, apple sauce is also delicious.slightly defrosted
Yogurt
1-1½cupsgreek yogurt or regularany fat pecentage
Fruit
2cupsfresh berries or chopped seasonal fruit
Instructions
Add the chia seeds, milk, sweetener(if using), and vanilla to a bowl or jar and stir together. Let sit for 10 minutes, then stir again once the seeds have started to gel.
Cover the bowl or jar and place in the refrigerator for at least one hour. Chia pudding can also be made overnight for breakfast the next morning.
Assemble
Whisk the yogurt. Add about ¼ cup of yogurt at the bottom of the jar.
Follow it by slightly defrosted frozen berries or other fruit like mango, peaches even unsweetened apple sauce is good. The next layer is ¼ cup or more chia pudding, next ¼ cup granola and finally ¼ cup fresh fruit.
The recipe is pretty freestyle and forgiving use as little or as much of any layer you like. ENJOY!!!
